Spring flowers

Green Gym had good turn out today (14).  Must be because it was sunny and warm.  To be fair, some of the group have been on holiday.
Spent the morning on my knees weeding and being covered in blossom from the overhead tree.  The tree would have made a fantastic blip a couple of weeks ago but is now shedding petals like confetti.

Came home, and whilst still dressed for it, I pulled out my plant table and cleared thousands of dead leaves covering the gravel underneath it, from the nearby bamboo.  Very therepeutic.  Gave the table a good scrub ready to paint it tomorrow.
Repaired grandfather clock returned and because I said the strike was too piercing, the repairer has put a little bit of leather round the hammer to deaden the sound..
Will ring me tomorrow to see if all ok.
