Blair Drummond tidy

The big tidy is on for a Royal Visit to Blair Drummond House on Friday.

Lawns have been weeded, grass has been sown, flowers planted, new gravel laid in the parking areas, cobbles pressure blasted, woodwork painted (inside and out), and internal wood panelling varnished. Carpets have been steam cleaned, wooden floors polished, windows washed and, if there is time, the flagpole on the tower will be painted. Even the toilet set aside for the royal personage has been refurbished.

Excitement is rising to fever pitch and most of the the residents are aware that something special is happening.
