Turning
The farmer was turning his crop ready to bale tomorrow. The tractor is just visible on the ridge.
It’s been another sun-filled day. I helped with cutting back and weeding in a friend’s garden all morning, in exchange for tea and hot cross buns.
The onions have been lifted and will dry out in the sun for a few days before going into the cool store. And I’m still working on that bed in the tunnel. Nothing more to do there now though until the compost arrives next week.
Bean is lying next to me on the sofa, whimpering and twitching in her sleep. Probably dreaming about the hare she put up on our walk this evening.
A lovely day.
