There was a brief lunchtime conversation between human and canine about the benefits of taking the afternoon off.

It was an easy decision and we headed for Bortons Pond to walk the afternoon away.

We were the only ones there, except for ducks, geese and coots. It was sunny, calm, warm and peaceful. Just what we both needed.
