High and dry with displays in the sky

Lake Wanaka is at a 30year low and it shows. We went out for a stagger today and met lots of folk  we know as Wanaka is seriously short of tourists and the locals are out in all the good spots. Dogs galore.....
Todays extra is courtesy of a lone plane that arrived and did a loop in the sky...Probably in honour of the Air Show that got Covid cancelled. It was fun to watch.
Todays composition on "The Tree" was only possible because you could kneel in the lake bed.where normally you would have been well under water.
