Wirksworth

Pretty cottages on the road almost opposite the cottage we’re staying in.
This is the last photo of the day - tweaked a little to brighten it as it was dusk.
Just had dinner at the Hope & Anchor, a minute’s walk from the house.
We played an unusual game of Scrabble - all three of us finished on 218. A draw between two players isn’t that common but a three-way tie was a surprise!

Earlier in the day we visited Kedleston Hall, another National trust property.
Nice day.
Ate too much.
Home tomorrow after another lovely visit to Derbyshire.
