Howtown to Pooley Bridge

We’ve always wanted to walk from Howtown to Glenridding but decided it was a bit too far for Reggie nowadays so we did Howtown to Pooley Bridge, having got the boat to Howtown.

Saw these very young lambs on the walk back. The mum spotted us so I didn’t take a second shot as I didn’t want her to be disturbed.

Gorgeous views on the walk , see extra, and lots of stick throwing once back at Pooley Bridge where we saw these lovely swans whilst eating a delicious ice cream. Weather far better than forecast or expected!
