Blackbird chicks leave the nest after 12 days.

 Top left shows Mother approaching with a beak full of food. The chicks cannot fly for about 4 days. Their tails are very short and they have wispy downy feathers near their ears. Extra - in the nest this morning Not very clear but you can see how well feathered they are.
