The Burrell

Had my hair done this morning, and as it was a nice day, in the afternoon we went to Pollok Park to see the newly opened Burrell Collection.  It was closed for a number of years, and it is great to see it busy with visitors.  A lot of it looks much the same, the refurbishment has been in the fabric of the building to a large extent.  Enjoyed our walk around, seeing things familiar to us and also some new things.  Burrell collected an eclectic mix of art, furnishings, etc. and gifted it all to the City of Glasgow.

After our visit to the Collection we walked down to see how the newborn Highlanders were doing.  They are such handsome creatures and the wee ones are beyond cute.
