T.O.T.

In case you missed it, today is Tongue Out Tuesday. I asked Jean-Luc if he minded me blipping his tongue for all to see, and without hesitation he answered “Make it so, Irish, Make it so.” Jean-Luc uses his tongue to reach any sunflower seeds that fall beneath the wire insert. His technique is locally known as “French Kiss”. It’s very effective and gaining in popularity :) • Drizzly, sunny and windy sums up the day here. The yard work we had planned will have to wait until tomorrow. The perennials are liking this wet weather though: jonquils, daffodils, hyacinths and tulips are all 3-4” high! • I set out oranges to signal any passing Baltimore Orioles, and I have yet to see a hummer…
