Limbo Dance

It was a joy watching this female Hairy Woodpecker doing the limbo dance today. It took a combination of skill and determination to position herself between the tree, the seed block cage and the tree strap to peck at seeds deemed worthy of her efforts • I wish I had her energy because I’m not feeling it today. I’ve done laundry, made a chocolate banana bread (new recipe, can’t wait to try it) plus a few other little things but that’s about it. The weather has been odd too, mostly overcast, with peeks of sun, and chilly enough that I don’t want to be outside. I think I’ll blame my funk on the weather, and look ahead, instead, to a more productive day tomorrow! • Be well Blipmates!
