It is rainy today and 11c.
If my Father had lived, today would be his 102th birthday. He passed away 6th March 1992.
I always think fondly of him and remember his faith in God and love for family life. He was a good railwayman with 30 years of service as a passenger guard. He enjoyed gardening and he was especially gifted at growing beautiful dahlias. This is his first birthday with my Mum not being alive here on Earth. I hope they met and had a beautiful reunion in heaven and will live happily there in the Divine Presence.
I went down to the Co op to buy my husband a Cadbury's Creme Easter egg, but they had all sold out. He kindly bought a Wicked Vegan Easter Egg for me. I bought him a pack of 5 normal size Cadbury's Creme eggs instead. I also found and couldn't resist a brilliant publication called Kitchen Garden. It cost £5.99 and had 10 packets of seeds and an offer for Tuscan Kale plants worth over £31. I bought it and knew Dad was watching over me. I need to get planting! Thanks Dad and happy birthday.
