Lotions and Potions
I had an early start. Chris and her husband David, drove us to York. We stopped at Byland Abbey on the way. Most of it is in ruins now thanks to Henry 8th. Still impressive though.
We ate lunch at the Three Tuns and ambled round the little streets and markets. We walked up Clifford’s Tower, it just happens to be right outside my hotel room window.
More food this time at ‘Ate O’clock’. Excellent food.
The high light of the trip was watching ‘Lord of the Dance’ at York’s Barbican Theatre. It was fascinating, watching all those lightening feet and legs dancing. It’s been a memorable day,”.
