Driftwood

Finally got to see it in the person! The Bug and the Bear were beaming with pride and extremely excited to see Auntie J and Uncle C's restaurant, and I was too. What an incredible place, and what an incredible effort. Hopefully they can start to enjoy it soon - it seems like they can hardly pause a moment to appreciate their own handiwork.

Auntie J's hot chocolate went down a storm, and outside it almost was a storm down on the beach. Not the best weather to start the holiday, but very atmospheric. Back to the cafe for a very delicious lunch of seafood chowder, then John Dory, and sundaes for pudding. We got to see the house in the afternoon while N did a shop, then back to the house for a pasta dinner, and bedtime books from Auntie J.
