The long arm of the law

The law according to Pepe has many retention clauses. 
Basically, everything has to be retained, for ever. 
That includes bananas in the fruit bowl, pieces of cremated toast on the kitchen table or packets of fancy fresh pasta from that trip to Verona (back in 1986).
