Saturday: Rideau Canal

It was supposed to rain today but luckily the forecast turned out to be wrong.   Not only did it not rain but it was almost sunny in part.

Our exploration of downtown continued.  We checked out the Rideau Centre, the canal (seen here), Bank Street and Chinatown.  And we worked out now to do it all on the busses.  

We had a call with P&J in Vancouver tonight.  It was so good to ‘see’ them.  We chatted just as if we were in the room together.
