Friday: Framed Highrise

We got the last of our luggage today.  Well, to be accurate, it did arrive with all the other stuff when we got here, but when we opened the case everything was damp and smelled really strongly of kerosene.  We couldn’t shift the smell for love nor money so ended up having to send cases and contents to be professionally cleaned.  $1,300 later……….suffice to say it’s an insurance claim.  The dry cleaners were excellent - in their opinion, there was a significant diesel or petrol spill over the luggage.

With perfect timing we went out for a walk this evening just as it started raining heavily and got home just as it finished.
