Relaxing!

What a pleasant day we had in Newport, Oregon today. The weather, originally forecast to be sort of lousy, turned out to be quite pleasant with plenty of sun interspersed with rain showers. 

We at breakfast at the B&B and then went to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, actually the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area owned by the US BLM (Bureau of Land Management). And it is outstanding! Today's blip is looking off the head into the Pacific Ocean.

Then a drive south down the coast - we eventually turned around and ate a nice lunch in Waldport. Back to the B&B and then a long walk on Agate Beach. We're about to go out for dinner. I'll try to catch up with your journals later, but it might be another day ;-)
