Memories…

The sixth form block of my secondary school. And it would seem, almost the only building on the site that hasn’t been changed. Called then Honor Oak Grammar School for Girls or HOGGS, and now The Dulwich Harris Academy for Girls. Way back then, only 500 pupils. Today many more. We4 were all there but never all at the same time. As Big Sis left at 18, so Little Sis arrived at 11. Another lovely walk taking me back in time! We walked across The Rye and passed the chemist shop which gave me my first paid employment and sadly looking very little different. My extra. Plus the building without the railings.

This morning much time was spent emailing my friends/ ex colleagues with yesterday’s sad news, and making phone calls to some who don’t do email (still). We are all so shocked. The news came as a real surprise after my last email from Lesley.

My test is still coming back as positive. My cold has gone though. Well, much better.
