Terrazza Mascagni

Mr P and I spent ages today walking up and down this fantastic chessboard-like waterfront terrace in Livorno. It was very sunny but also very windy which encouraged lots of photographers to risk getting soaked for a decent picture.
I got caught by sea spray not while blipping but as I was walking along. Thankfully Mr P missed capturing the moment! After a very tasty but rather pricy (blew the budget) seafood lunch, we spent the afternoon exploring the little Venice canal area. I’d never properly visited Livorno before and hadn’t appreciated how lovely a city it is. Will definitely return.
