The Motherhouse

No repercussions from the vaccine (yet anyway) but as Mr P’s knee was giving him gyp, we postponed our proposed visit to Coldingham and after a leisurely morning, drove to Melrose for the afternoon. Cold but sunny. Visited Harmony and Priorwood Gardens and treated ourselves to coffee and cake from the Apples for Jam cafe.
Melrose Abbey is the Motherhouse for Newbattle Abbey.
