Primula Scotica

The native Scottish primula which I saw in the wild 30 odd years ago when we were in Orkney and took a trip to Hoy.  Climbing up through Rackwick Bay towards the Old Man of Hoy, we stopped for shelter in a wee glade where we saw a relative of this guy.  It was sale at a garden opening last summer so it had to be had.  The who;e plant is no bigger than my thumnail but it brought back a lot of great memories.
