Castlerigg Stone Circle

We stopped briefly at Castlerigg Stone Circle on the way back from Orienteering.

No one about…hence quick photo without having to wait 25 minutes while people moved away from the centre of the circle!

We were Orienteering at Hallin Fell, Ullswater( see ‘extra’ photo )

It was very steep and tough at times…but very worthwhile!
