"Ringo's in town!"

 
Over to Callander to my favourite shoe shop.  While there I remark about the new parking arrangements and how I had to download an app in order to pay.
 
They are horrified. One calls out : “ Ringo’s in town.”
They had heard talk of it in the big cities but never thought it would come to Callander, at least not so soon.
 
Of course I could have paid in cash but I had none.
After a bit of palaver (I am always nervous about using these things for the first time), Ring Go turned out to be surprisingly easy.
 
Then came the bad news: the discovery that an extra 20 pence is added to every parking charge.
 
So we are caught in a cleft stick- either pay the extra or find some cash, an increasingly rare commodity these days.
