Gunnister Hoose

A mixed day of weather.  Some lovely sunny spells, some showers, even snow and hail.  A cold wind too.  Calmer tonight, still breezy though. 

Another day off, and up early again.  Headed out walkies after breakfast, and popped by Madeline's.  Mam, Laura and the lasses came over to Madeline's too.  Met friend Julie for walkies this afternoon, then back home to cleaning chores.  Mam, dad, Laura and family came over for tea tonight.  A family walk with the dogs, and then an early night. 

The afternoon walk took us to the Sullom forest, and then onwards to Gunnister.  As we came down the road, it was my first sighting of the house since the fire.  Sadly Ruby and Willie Brown's house caught fire on in the early hours on 24th February this year.  By the time the fire engines arrived, it was too late to save the house, but thankfully they made it out safely.  A terrifying thought of a house fire, even more so loosing precious heirlooms, photos and personal belongings.  In great community spirit, a funding page has raised thousands of pounds to help rebuild their lives.  I last Blipped the house on 1st Nov 2019.  The remaining shell, Gunnister, Northmavine.
