Barnet

I was supposed to be off today but had to go to a three hour workshop on some potential changes to our pay and reward schemes this morning. I could have missed it but, for lots of reasons, some of which I hope will play out in the next few weeks, it was better to be there.

After lunch I spent a bit of time trying to work out if my fence is repairable; it's been wobbling around a lot with all the strong winds, and weeded the coldest and therefore slowest growing part of the garden. 

Time for a barnet trim after that and now an evening in front of the telly box beckons. I was out last night and will probably be out tomorrow night so decided in was best today. Plus I need to speak to my brother who's been leaving (not urgent, just frequent) lots of messages for me.
