SBU D094 Lottie

A fellow WI member and friend lives about 10 houses up the road from me. I popped in to see her today and was introduced to Lottie, one of her two pet turkeys.

My friend has been keeping us amused all through lockdown with stories about Lottie and Michael, the other one, and it was fun to finally meet her. Michael wouldn't come out of his - very luxurious - house as he's broody and is sitting on a clutch of six eggs. Apparently male turkeys do that. She pops them out and he sits on them.

That, and a trip to get my boobs xrayed, was the highlight of my day. And to be honest, Lottie and Michael beat the x-ray by a mile.

It was nice to see my friend too, obviously.
