Ye Olde Golf Tavern

This was my view this morning of Ye Olde Golf Tavern which sits on Bruntsfield Links overlooking the 36 hole Pitch and Putt course. The Tavern dates back to 1456 while the Bruntsfield Short Hole Golf Course, to give the course its Sunday name, began about 1890. It is free to join for anyone over 14 years of age.
With its colourful red wooden shutters the tavern building looks like something you might see in a French village.
