This picture marks the end of a day spent working in the yard and enjoying time together as a couple and as a family. The steak wasn't very good, the yard work was hard, and Alex was a little cranky after spending the night at Grandma and Grandpa's, but 10 years ago, today, I said 'I do' to a lifetime with this amazing father and companion and something about remembering that made everything ordinary about today feel like paradise. Lucky to be where I am right now.
