Old lag

It’s distressing, how old my hand looks. Ok, I’m now 63 years old, but somehow I forget that when my spirit is in its twenties.

I’ve had my ear grommets installed! Does a surgeon ‘install’ grommets? I’m not sure. Maybe he just inserts them. Anyway, they’re in now and I’ve cast off the wonderful sleepiness of the general anaesthetic. Tea and toast on the way!
