The Long Walk

This straight tree-lined avenue stretches for 2.64 miles from the state entrance of Windsor Castle to the Copper Horse Statue on Snow Hill in the deer park established almost 70 years ago by the late H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh.  

I didn't see any deer today, but plenty dramatic skies and sunny intervals ... though I could have done without the cloud burst as I wandered back towards the car park!
