Spring Joy

Last year I missed the UK Bluebell season due to lockdown measures, so this year I'm making up for it by diligently searching any woodlands my walks take in, and today I was not disappointed. 

The bluebells in this small copse on farmland crossed by a public path still have a week or so to reach their best, but in the meantime I relished capturing a portrait of one emerging stem.
