Keeping up.

It being Easter school holidays two grandsons are visiting. They are 13 and 11 and are fit and energetic.
As the rain held off this morning we naturally went walking up on Arnside Knott.

All being well in a month from now I should reach the grand old age of 87. I am immensely grateful that I can still climb the Knott at a good pace and I can keep up with Mrs. K. on our daily walks. But I have to admit that the grandson are a challenge and I ended the walk a couple of hundred yards behind them.

But it was enjoyable and I can only hope that in 75 years from now they are as lucky as I have been.
