Jock MacFadyen

Decided to swerve via the Royal Academy before going into the office because I wanted to see the Jock MacFadyen exhibition before it closes at the weekend.  I love his grim work!  I have a digital print of one of his paintings of Jura though which is very different but most of them have a similar effect of a building or edifice with the sky towering above it. And how ever decrepit the buildings the sky is almost almost blue   There was a rather glamorous group of visitors in the gallery, mainly art world I think but also Michael Rosen. 

Then off to the office, meetings with Seth and Nick L came in to get started on the writers room for our new show.  

Drinks in the evening with a notable Swedish agent over for the London Book Fair before being taken in GR’s car back to the station to go home for dinner.
