Yellow

At first I thought it was a daffodil but when it moved into the brambles I realised it was a gorgeous male yellowhammer. I would add that it really was THAT yellow!!

Tilly went in for her operation first thing and her eye has been taken out. It's been successful I've been told but goodness she looks a sorry sight. The stitches will come out in a week so she's wearing a cone which is very scary for her at the moment but she did chase the ducks off the pond at a pace just now so all is well I feel. She is mewing a lot which I'm finding worrying but we can't do any more at this stage.
