aspen catkins

Quite a brisk wind today, supposedly bringing snow tomorrow, both of which make me grouchy!
I had noticed the catkins developing on the aspen trees in our neighborhood last week before our trip, and decided to take a closer look today. But the wind made macro shots impossible!
So here is a shot of just color and textures that I found interesting.
