The first time we visited Warkworth Castle must have been 1975. It’s still fantastic.
A varied day with the castle, a potter round Warkworth village with some retail therapy and a nice lunch. A walk on the beach and finishing up at Barter Books in Alnwick.
I love Northumberland.
