After hearing the news today this image resonated.

It was quiet in town this morning despite start of school holidays.  Makes shopping safer.

OH had praised a painting from someone at the art class and consequently was gifted it.  Today we went to the frame shop to choose a suitable frame.  At home had rare compliment  from OH 'I trust your judgement.'  Swiftly followed by 'I can then blame you if I don't like it.' :-!¡

This afternoon felt like some baking.  So made raisin scones and cheese and three-cornered leek ones.
