Curious

They arrived this afternoon after a long journey - three trains, two cars - but better than driving all the way. Grandad picked them up from Darlington and this was taken soon after they arrived.

I gave Ella a very late birthday present - a sewing bag with everything for sewing in it. I had made a pincushion and neediecase etc. I had it in mind for her birthday last December but, although we had done stitching when they were here last, I didn’t want to push it, so decided to wait. Since then I have discovered that she has been sewing very successfully at school and is very interested. So the bag went down well and here the other two are looking through the book I also put in the bag - lots of ideas for stitches to do, things to make.

Looking at the weather forecast for the few days that they are here, we might all be inside sewing again!
