Pudsey Spring Flower Show

A very cold day, but bright and sunny, and everyone seemed to have turned out to support the Pudsey Allotments & Gardeners’ Association 100th Anniversary Show which was held in the Parish Church.

I haven’t been before, but saw a leaflet at the farm shop yesterday.
Didn’t expect it to be so busy. Even had to queue to get in.
I felt sorry for some of the exhibitors as it couldn’t have been easy finding flowers that hadn’t been damaged with the weather this week.
However I think most of them had been grown in a greenhouse.
I was disappointed that there was only one entry in the forced rhubarb class.
Plenty of entries in the children’s section.
Also the Home Produce Section.
All in all it was an interesting show and so pleased to see it well attended.
