Catembe

Having only ever zipped through, I did the short bus ride over the fancy bridge to Catembe, the sprawling district / village across from Maputo Bay.

A young lad strutting up the beach with a group of mates introduced himself as Kelvin and proclaimed that Catembe has ‘good vibes’. Based on my long walk along the sand, I think he’s right. There are always aesthetically pleasing old boats hauled up on Mozambican beaches.

I’ve long been a fan of Michael Jackson’s music but I finally concluded today that his diction while performing is very poor.
