Marchmont in Marchmont

BC (before Covid)!In wanted to visit Marchmont House, be Greenlaw and now here I am for a photography themed weekend "Conversations with David Eustace'. A restored Palladian mansion it is an art treasure trove but also a lived in house. 

We were 8 for dinner, including the owner. One couple from the west, who have links to Colintraivevand have met it's most famous blipper, J who was at the City Chambers event a couple of weeks ago (though we didn't meet)! and who was at school with me and H from the West End of Glasgow who was a great mate of Fidelma, visited her at Las Molieres and sorted everything for her after her first fall. We raised a glass to our mutual friend. She knows David, J knows another guest and M of the Colintraive couple. 

Yes, back to 'Scotland is a small place'.
