Sutton Hoo

If anyone watched The Dig on Netflix they will know about Sutton Hoo (of course you may know about it without having seen the film lol).  It was more or less opposite us across the river.

We enjoyed a good few hours at this NT site, listening to a very interesting guide about the real dig. Mum and dad enjoyed it too. Although we were standing outside at the site of the excavation and it was very cold.

There is a building attached to our apartment called the longshed where the Sutton Hoo society are building a replica of the Anglo Saxon boat that was discovered in 1939. Extra added.

An Indian takeaway tonight as it was too cold to go out for mum and dad.
