Flower Friday

It was -1C this morning..... chilly..... but it did get warmer in the afternoon.

The HG is away walking, on a recce with four mates.  However, I headed to Netherlee to have lunch with my forever friends.  Pat is not too mobile now, but managed to walk with her zimmer to the cafe where we had lunch, and it was good to see her do that rather than use her disability buggy.  Conversation is rather difficult as her speech is impaired now but she has been having physio and it has helped a bit.

We had a good lunch and I treated myself to a proper meal as I would not be cooking later for Bob who was eating with his mates.  We had a lot of laughs and Pat was pleased to see Maeve, as she had not seen her for a while, although I visit quite regularly.  And we did laugh at Pat who insisted in having a Knickerbocker Glory after her fish and chips!  I wanted to help her but no way was she letting me have any.

Seem to have blipped quite a lot of friends lately so today I have blipped some small daffodils in the garden, and uploaded an extra of the three of us.
