Departure

Notwithstanding the assurances that it could take up to 10 hours for the Verifly app to get recognised by the BA system, nothing had come through by morning. So it was off very bright and early having dusted off the snow from the car.

Arrived in the car park 07:15 and despite the queues by 08:00 (with many complaining they could not complete the check in process) our son was booked in, extra suitcase purchased and he was on his way. Safely arrived in Philadelphia by 21:40 UK time.

The blip is of the control tower at Edinburgh Airport from the car park. It is some time since I drove to the airport but was somewhat shocked to discover that even the 10 minute drop off costs £4. In the car park an hour costs £12. Glad that the booking in process went well.

Back home got lots of church related emails done, sat in the sun in a sheltered spot, then began some tidying up. One of the benefits of being retired is that as the effects of my early start kicked in I could go for a nap.
