Daffodils and bark
One of my favourite spring trees in Mote Park as we walked into town this morning. A very changeable day, bright sun to begin, sleety rain while we were walking.
By the afternoon the sun was back out accompanied by strong, cold, blustery northerly winds with a smattering of snow. Down at the allotment it wasn’t very pleasant as I sowed broad beans and some red onions and tidied up the strawberry plants.
This evening we went out for a meal with Matt, grand daughter and his mum to mark her birthday. I handed over a large quantity of rocks from Findhorn beach and the Lake District to add to her collection.
