Frida Kahlo

There's an exhibition on her in Assen. I'm not that fond of her work, but I find the person Frida Kahlo very interesting. The exhibition contains her work, but is mostly about her life. Showing photos her father made from baby on until young woman, showing her jewelry, her beautiful outfits, but also the body braces she has to wear.

When I planned this weekend, but that long ago, I didn't know it would turn this cold... And coldness is not the worst of it. It's snowing as well. Fortunately it will be a bit better in the weekend.

I'm sleeping in a beautiful B&B tonight. A 16th century old little farmhouse... Sleepplaces are set in the walls. The rest of the place is nice and warm with floor heating.
