Preparations underway

A trip to home farm this afternoon to assist with the reception preparation. The yurts were up and despite being covered with snow this morning the sun got to work to melt it. Final adjustments to the suits completed. Flowers trimmed and ready (see extra). 

Unfortunately Matthew’s godmother succumbed to Covid this morning so despite a trek from Ireland will unfortunately miss the big day. We had so looked forward to sharing the day with them.

Thomas and Stephen are home and have joined Matthew and his groomsmen for a meal this evening. The wedding rehearsal is tomorrow and then the wedding is at Ampleforth Abbey on Saturday. Nearly there having been postponed from October 2020!
