Snap! Well, nearly
Our sister sent a photo of primroses in her English garden, a lovely breath of spring. On the same day, a nice coincidence, we have some self seeded polyanthus flowering in our Australian garden. They’re not quite the same flowers, but they are both members of the primula family. Polyanthus look like primroses on steroids, with stronger colours and clusters of flowers on a single stem. These ones don’t seem to know that in Australia it’s autumn, not spring.
