Spring walk beside the Ohio
Wednesday
Our weather is all over the place at present, yesterday about 45F, then today we soared up to 78F with a mix of clouds and sun, and strong gusty winds. It’s still really windy now, as I type this at 11pm! Tomorrow it will be 57F, with rain, and Friday back down to 47F! At least you don’t get bored with the weather during a southern Ohio Spring!
After breakfast, we decided to go down for a walk along the Ohio river before the wind really picked up in the afternoon, to see all the Spring flowers. As you can see from my collage, we weren’t disappointed. We were also treated to the sight of a huge set of barges laden with coal going down river - I’ve put a picture in extras. It amazes me how they can steer that length through the succession of bridges! It’s always fascinating to see. They don’t make very fast progress.
